Abstract
背景回顾:Pitaya(Hylocereus)isthemosteconomicallyimportantfleshy-fruitedtreeoftheCactaceaefamilythatisgrownworldwide,andithasattractedsignificantattentionbecauseofitsbetalain-abundantfruits.
提出问题:Nonetheless,thelackofapitayareferencegenomesignificantlyhindersstudiesfocusedonitsevolution,aswellasthepotentialforgeneticimprovementofthiscrop.
主要研究:Herein,weemployedvarioussequencingapproaches,namely,PacBio-SMRT,IlluminaHiSeqpaired-end,10×Genomics,andHi-C(high-throughputchromosomeconformationcapture)toprovideachromosome-levelgenomicassemblyof‘GHB’pitaya(H.undatus,2n?=?2x?=?22chromosomes).
